The EQUIFITT goal is to help you integrate your fitness program into your life so that it works, and you see results. Flexible hours and the option of mobile service help you integrate your fitness commitment with your demanding schedule:

  • your home/ other location 
  • the EQUIFITT private mini-studio in Kemptville

Personal Training Programs 

EQUIFITT personal training programs are use best practices in fitness training so that your program is designed to meet you where you are at, help you set realistic goals and get the results you want.  Personal training typically gets faster results.  While all programs include the four key fitness aspects (cardio-vascular ability, strength and core strength, flexibility and nutrition), you program will emphasise activities in line with your needs and goals, and without alot of expensive equipment.  Personal programs include:

  • Initial fitness assessment
  • Program design to match your fitness, wellness or sport performance goals
  • Food log monitoring and guidance (ongoing within sessions)
  • Personal Training sessions at a frequency that matches your budget, goals and training level (1-3 times per week, every two weeks, or occasionally; private or semi-private sessions are an option)
  • Re-analysis at 6-week intervals to assess your progress and reset your program (ongoing within sessions)
  • A copy of your program, food log and other relevant training and fitness information

Semi-Private Training

Sharing your sessions is a great way to combine quality time with your commitment to fitness.  Semi-private training can also be a cost-effective way to stretch your budget and increase your training time.

Moms n' Tots

Because it isn't always possible for you to find a sitter and get to a gym, EQUIFITT invites you to bring your small child to the private studio, or book your training sessions at your home. It's even more fun to do semi-private training with a friend of yours who is in the same situation as you are. Get fit, have fun, and don't compromise at a time when your fitness is more important than ever.

Depending on availability, classes and workshops can be organized onsite at your facility, or offsite.

 

FALL FITNESS OPTIONS: Have fun, Get fit !

 

SMALL GROUPS: it’s like semi-private personal training for the low cost of a group class, and you get the workout that fits your needs.  Equifitt classes have an average of 6 people, are limited to no more than 12.  Comparable bootcamps & programs can have over 20 participants.

 

DON’T BE INTIMIDATED BY THE WORD BOOTCAMP: Classes for all fitness levels.  Small class size ensures your needs can be accommodated.  Whether you're a marathon runner, have bad knees, or just need to take it slow, you'll be sweating and smiling.  

 

CAN’T COME EVERY SINGLE WEEK? NO WORRIES: One class per month can be used to attend a class at a different time.  You can also send a friend/relative instead.   

 

BodySculpt : Total body intense workout that gets your heart pumping.  Get ready to sweat! Lower impact exercise variations can be provided based on need.

 

Yummy Mummy: Blast baby-fat with a total body lower impact workout that targets abs and thighs. (gentle workout for getting back into shape).  Non-moms can also come, as long as you don't mind the interruptions which may happen for toddlers.  Toddlers/infants are welcome onsite.

 

Gentle Bootcamp: Total body workout at a much gentler pace.  Class will be geared to accommodate participants who are older, recovering from injury, or relatively unfit and need to start slow. 

 

Hard-Core Core: Serious core workout ideal for runners, athletes of all ages, equestrians, anyone who wants to focus on core strength.  Let your 6-pack loose!

 

Intro Cardio KickBox: Beginner level cardio kickboxing.  Come try a great total body workout that helps you de-stress.  Don't worry about keeping up- classes are done at the pace of the people in the room.  Get fit and have fun!

 

Equestrian: All of the above classes are suitable cross training for equestrians due to emphasis on total body conditioning, core strength and balance.  Equestrian specific classes are also run in order to target specific strength balancing, and flexibility issues created through riding.  NON-RIDERS WHO PREFER A LOWER IMPACT WORKOUT, WITH MORE TIME FOR CORE AND STRETCHING WOULD ALSO BENEFIT FROM AND ENJOY THE EQUESTRIAN CLASSES.  No equestrian experience required.  No horses are involved.

Yoga

Yoga can be a relaxing way to build core strength and improve your joint and muscular flexibility. EQUIFITT clients often want to incorporate yoga into their program. Private training programs can take your yoga class participation into account.  Yoga inspires many of the stretches we do in class.  EQUIFITT recommends The Bodhi Tree Yoga Centre. in Kemptville if you are interested in taking yoga-only classes. 

Fee Schedule 

Since part of the EQUIFITT mission is to make fitness more accessible and achievable in a rural and small-town setting, there is no weekly or monthly minimum number of sessions required. It is recommended that you train at a frequency that matches your goals and budget, whether that means training several times a week for a period of time, or booking occasional sessions to keep you accountable, and progressing forward. Your program does need to be re-assessed at the six-week mark so that your body does not adapt and 'plateau'.
